Biography(s):

I’m principally a homemaker—a wife and mother. I thoroughly enjoy cleaning, furniture refinishing, redecorating, cooking, planning menus, working in the yard, etc. In fact, I find great contentment in these things. For me, the role of wife and mother is the highest calling of woman.

I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was twelve years old, following my beloved Dad to the altar one Sunday morning. I lived pretty much "under the pile" for years, and then I was exposed to the truths that we now teach—the "identification" truths: Identifying with Christ in His death, His burial, and His resurrection, believing that He is now living within me to be my very "Life." That didn't happen until I was forty-plus years old, so I did a pretty good job of depending on Anabel’s strength, doing things "my" way, and clinging to the "flesh" that I had generated in the world system—but then, it was such "good-looking" flesh! Sigh!

We have four sons. Pres, our first-born, is the "glue" that holds our office together, the President and CEO of Lifetime Guarantee. He and his wife, Dianne, live here in Ft. Worth. Will and Kelly are residents of Ft. Worth, too. Will is Publications Director at the Amon Carter Museum. The youngest, Wade, and his wife, Debra, live in Portland, Oregon. Wade is with Mobilian, a computer firm. Wade and Deb have presented our two grandchildren to us: Cate Anabel, April, 1999, and Will, May, 2002. Mason, our beloved, profoundly retarded son, is with the Lord, and he isn't retarded any longer! Then, there is Wesley--who took Bo's place as our dog friend (although no animal could ever take dear Bo's place).

We've grown from a "Mom and Pop" enterprise to a well-coordinated team--small in the eyes of the world perhaps, but beyond our wildest dreams, hopes, or expectations! That's the "home" office. Our "extended staff"—our prayer and financial partners—is made up of several thousand wonderful people who are as much a part of Lifetime Guarantee Ministry as we are. We pack and unpack our suitcases, work on the computers and other such visible things, but we could not function without them.
