Biography(s):
Lee Turner is the author of The Grace Discipleship Course and The Advanced Grace Discipleship Course. Both courses are the result of the author's spiritual journey from self-sufficiency through depression and burn-out, and finally to Sabbath rest in the sufficiency of Christ.
The content of his courses are the result of a lifetime of scriptural study filtered through the soul of the author as providential experiences led him to the cross in brokenness. He realized his co-death with Christ and then experienced the exchanged life as he understood his co-resurrection with Christ.
Dr. Turner has been a successful businessman, Director of Development of a Christian college, trustee of another Christian college, and a pastor.He has endured the loss of his first wife after nine months of terminal illness, the parent's pain of prodigal sons (who have since returned to a joyful father), financial reverses, a church split, a heart attack, bypass surgery, and treatment for prostrate cancer. He and his present wife, Mary, enjoyed a grace-filled church where loving, transparent people spontaneously radiated and shared the life of Christ.
Dr. Turner is now President of Grace Discipleship Ministries and conducts seminars and conferences. He is an associate of Grace Fellowship International.
